what is grit?  

G R I T is a project funded by Erasmus+ and involves 8 Partners from 7 European countries. “Grit” is a non-cognitive trait defined as “perseverance and passion for long-term goals”.
The GRIT project recognizes the importance of non-cognitive skills in predicting and promoting both academic success and civic engagement.

The project aims to create tools and resources designed to improve non-cognitive skills within the academic context through the application of machine learning, sentiment analysis and gamification. Students, young researchers and academic staff will be involved in the process of sharing, comparing, collecting and tuning different technologies, experiences and practices. The aim is to build a standardized learning path dedicated to the development of non-cognitive skills within the European Academic Community.

Linking long term objectives of young researchers and students to societal challenges.

ACTING

Supporting the improvement of non-cognitive skills in young researchers and students and hence supporting social-awareness, civic commitment and public engagement.
